Threshold Field Test

90-Minute Real-World Power Test (Indoor or Outdoor)

To train effectively, you need to know your correct intensity levels—not generic percentages or outdated estimates. A Threshold Field Test identifies your personal heart rate and/or power thresholds, giving you precise training zones that make every workout more productive.

Whether you train indoors or outdoors, with heart rate or power, this test provides the foundation you need to progress efficiently and safely.

How the Test Works

The Threshold Field Test takes approximately 90 minutes and can be performed:
- Outdoors on a suitable stretch of road
- Indoors on a trainer using your preferred setup
Brian will guide you through:
1 - A structured warm-up
2 - The test protocol
3 - Cooldown and data capture
4 - Post-test data submission
Once your data is analyzed, you’ll receive personalized training zones and actionable guidance.
