What intensity level should you be training at to help you reach your goals? While Coach B.L. can write a great program that will increase your fitness, you need to train at the appropriate level for YOU. Whether you use a heart rate monitor or a power measuring device, a threshold field test is paramount for helping you set your zones. Threshold field tests take about 90 minutes and are conducted either outside or on an indoor trainer. The test is then repeated periodically throughout the course of a training year to measure fitness gains and help target areas for improvement.
The field test includes a detailed analysis of your data, an electronic copy of your training zones by both heart rate and power, if applicable, and a post-test debriefing.
Cost: $100 per test. Discounts are available to current Level 1 and Level 2 clients.
Not local to BJL Coaching? Remote testing is available for $50 which includes pre, during, and posting testing protocol, post test analysis, and heart rate and power zones.
