Join USA Cycling Coaches Brian Lariviere and Rod Murray on Saturday, April 7th at 3:00 p.m. at Body4Life in Morristown, NJ to find out how to make 2018 your best cycling season ever. Learn what personal training and coaching will do for your cycling enjoyment, whether you are just starting out, training for your first Century, chasing a KOM at the Saturday morning hammerfest, or looking for a podium finish. Their guided, purposeful programs may be just what you need to get stronger and faster - in less time than you currently spend working out!
Coach Brian Lariviere will discuss key training concepts as well as the general outline for designing a season-long training program. He will cover:
Rod will discuss the self-assessment tools which are detailed in his book, Dynamic Flexibility: A Guidebook to Foundational Fitness. You can use that self-assessment to predict your likelihood of succumbing to some of the common aches and pains associated with riding such as low back pain, shoulder and neck pain. Every participant will go home with a free copy of the Guidebook!
Rod will also describe how to build a program of off-bike exercises to offset your weaknesses, enhance your cycling and help you attain your goals. Rod’s approach to building your core strength, mobility and balance will change the way you ride - for good! The timing is perfect as you take your winter training outdoors for the new season.
To help you get the most out of the afternoon, Brian and Rod will leave plenty of time to answer your questions in this interactive workshop.
Together, Coaches Lariviere and Murray want to help make this the year you crush all your cycling goals – smoother spinning, stronger climbing, and keeping up with whoever your pack may be.
